Overview

We remove defects, not clear coat.

Every wash, every dusty wipe and every automatic dryer leaves micro-scratches that scatter light — the “spider webs” you see in the sun. Correction levels the clear coat with abrasive polishing, panel by panel, guided by paint-depth readings so we never cut deeper than the paint allows. The result is not shine added on top; it is clarity uncovered.

Why it matters

Glazes and filler waxes hide swirls for a few washes. Correction removes them permanently — and it is the mandatory foundation for ceramic coating and film, which lock in whatever finish sits beneath them.

How the appointment runs

Inspect (45 min): readings, lighting exam, level recommendation and fixed quote. Prepare (half day): full decon, masking and test spots. Refine (1–3 days): staged machine polishing with progressive checks. Protect & check (half day): panel wipe, sealant or coating base, final inspection and handover under the lights.

01What percentage of defects will come out?

One-stage gloss enhancement typically removes 50–65% of defects; two-stage correction reaches 85–95%. We show test-spot results before you commit to a level.

02Will polishing thin my paint dangerously?

No. We measure every panel and remove only microns — far less than factory tolerances allow. If a panel is too thin, we refine it by hand or leave it and tell you why.

03Can deep scratches be fixed?

Scratches through to primer or metal cannot be polished away, but we can minimise, touch up and level them so they stop catching the eye — quoted separately and honestly.

04Should I correct before ceramic coating?

Yes — coating locks in the finish beneath it for years. Every Motivra coating package includes at least a gloss-enhancing polish for exactly this reason.
