The challenge
Track-day brake pads had coated the satin graphite wheels in ferrous dust that standard washing only smeared. The barrels were worse — years of buildup the owner had never seen, because nobody had taken the wheels off.
Work performed
Wheels removed and torqued on refit, iron-fallout treatment that bled the barrels purple, tar removal, gentle clay on the faces, caliper and arch detailing, then a dedicated high-temp ceramic wheel coating. Tires deep-cleaned and dressed in satin.
The result
Wheels back to uniform satin graphite, barrels you could eat from, and brake dust that now rinses off with a hose. The owner sends us a photo of the beading after every wash.
