The challenge
Eighty motorway miles a day had armoured this coupe in road film, tar spots and baked-on brake dust. The owner washed it monthly at a jet wash — which kept it grey and added holograms to the soft black paint.
Work performed
Citrus pre-wash, two-bucket contact wash, iron-fallout and tar decon, clay treatment, single-stage gloss polish to lift the holograms, then a 12-month sealant with coated glass and dressed trim.
The result
Holograms gone, tar and fallout fully removed, and a slick sealed finish the owner can maintain with rinseless washes. Booked onto a quarterly maintenance plan.
