The challenge
The owner babied this car — but “babying” meant dry dusting between drives, which instilled thousands of fine scratches. The red paint had gone pink-ish in direct sun, and the previous detailer's glaze washed off within a month.
Work performed
Decon and clay, full paint mapping, then cutting stage with a heavy compound on firm pads followed by a jewelling refine. Edges and badges polished by hand. Finished with a 12-month sealant while the owner decides on full ceramic.
The result
88% defect removal with clarity the owner described as “better than delivery day.” The test-spot process meant zero surprises — the bonnet preview sold the full job in five minutes.
